The Safety Clamp instantly snaps onto standard theatrical and TV grid pipe. The fixture may be slid along the pipe, without falling off, due to the dual 3/16” stainless steel caribeaner type safety latch. This spring securely latches into a groove on the front of the clamp, not allowing the fixture to come off the pipe, (except at the ends), unless the user releases the latch first. The Mega-Square handle is furnished standard with the Safety-Clamp for clamping to the pipe without tools.

The Safety-Clamp is excellent for applications on working stages, educational media facilities, high catwalks, and TV studios.The Safety Clamp is extruded from a high strength aluminum alloy that is significantly stronger than the standard structural grade 60601 T-6 alloy. The Safety-Clamp has extruded micro grooves for an excellent grip on the pipe.

Available in a standard flat black finish, or a bright burnished finish.The Safety-Clamp has a large throat that will accommodate all of the standard pipe sizes, 1-1/4” pipe (1.660” OD), 1-1/2” pipe (1.9” OD), and even 2” pipe (2.375” OD). The fixture mounts with a grade 5 1/2”-13 TPI x 1” long hex head cap screw. A 1” diameter nickel plated spring steel Belleville spring washer is provided as a pan tensioning device.
